Empties: February 2016

GetFileAttachmentSo, I have been collecting a few of my empties and I figured it was the perfect time to show you what I’ve used up and what I though about them. So, here they are…

The first thing I used up was the Aloe Fresh Soothing Lotion from The Face Shop. I really enjoyed this product a lot. To be honest I only use moisturisers from The Face Shop, because they work so well on me, their smooth and silky, and leaves my skin feel hydrated and soft. This product was a great morning moisturiser, because it left my skin feeling hydrated, yet it wasn’t too thick that it was hard to layer other products on top. Plus, if you aren’t into scented moisturisers, this would be a good one to try out, because it wasn’t heavily scented at all, and it didn’t linger. Also, thus lotion has lasted for such a long time, that it was worth the money.

Don’t be fooled by the size of this travel size H2O+ scrub, it has lasted me for around year. I really like this scrub, it wasn’t too abrasive nor was it too soft that it wasn’t doing anything, which made it such a great daily scrub.

GetFileAttachment-1.jpgThis is my second box of these eye patches from Petitfée and I do think it does hydrate my under eyes. Although, I would say that this isn’t intense or hydrating enough for the winter, it definetly works better during the summer, so if you are looking for an intense or rich eye mask during the winter months next year, maybe this isn’t the best option, in my opinion.

GetFileAttachment-2Lets just take a moment to celebrate the fact that I finished a perfume. It’s very rare that I do, because I end up not liking the scent or pushing it aside, because I found another scent that I liked more. I will say that Little Kiss Salvador Dali perfume was really nice, in the sense that it wasn’t too strong that it overpowered everything, because a lot of floral scent can do that for me, and I prefer something subtle instead of a strong scent, so I definitely enjoyed this perfume a lot, but I’m still unsure if I would purchase this again.

The last product is the Spiced Vanilla Hand Cream from The Body Shop, which came out 2 or 3 years ago. I remember loving this at first, but gradually not liking it as much in terms of the scent, and maybe that’s why it took me so long to use it up. Yet, I really liked the consistency of it, it was really rich, which was perfect for the dry winter months, where my hands were literally so dry and rough, so it was a life saver.

So those are my empties, I hope it gave you some insight on the products that I talked about, and hopefully it helped you if you were thinking of purchasing any of these products!
